What happened was, last Saturday, I was surfing around Ebay looking for a second hand Wacom Cintiq, cuz my old ancient graphire is dying (the USB cable is lose, so it has to be bent at a certain angle for it to work, but it'll eventually ware out and die...). I was deciding whether to get a Intuos4 or Cintiq, but I saw some youtube videos on Wacomwcl's channels, that showed heaps of pro Japanese artist drawing with a cintiq, I was blasted at how awesome the Cintiq was.
So then I saw this posting on Ebay, $950 bucks for a wacom Cintiq, but you can make a lower offer. And I did, for $850. Which I thought would be a reasonable price for a used cintiq... anyways, the catch for the low offer was to make a bank transfer instead of using paypal. The moment I saw this bank transfer method, I had a slight tingle that it might be a scam, but the reason for a bank transfer could also mean to avoid Paypal's fees for transfering money out. It was a very hard debate as to whether it's a scam or not... I really wanted the cintiq, but I didn't want to risk losing that much money....
But in the end I took the risk, made the payment, and of course whenever you make your first payment to a third party account that is not in your account book, it'll take 1-2 working days for the funds to be received by the receiver. It's the 2nd working day and he should've received the funds by now, but it's strange that he's not replying to any of my emails sent out to him...... and that makes me very unease that it might be a scam.
Thou, I have his full contact details(I.e Full name, address, phone number, bank account number). I don't think he'd be a fool to give me all his details if he were to commit a scam... but maybe he is a fool, especially since he spelt "straight" as "strait". (I.e Once I've received the funds, I'll pack the item and mail it to you STRAIT away")....
I really hope he mail that cintiq out soon, I'm getting very paranoid and I'm not sure how much longer can I get a hold of myself. Although I kept telling myself to give the person 1 week, but I hope I can last that long.... thoughts anyone :(?

I received a reply today, seems that he too was paranoid about it. Cuz of the reverse transaction, but I guess I'll be getting it couriered instead of AusPost. Hope he keeps true to his words..... But it was a heavy relief to see that reply. Or I'll still be shitting bricks around... still there's no resting till I get that Wacom in my hands.
