A Surprise visit

Today I had an unexpected visit from a dear friend of mine.

Damn have I gone very anti social lately hahahaha. It's been awhile since I've caught up with anyone. I've been hermiting at home for a very long time, locking myself at home doing mindless drawings and paintings.

To me it feels like I have everything I need at home to get me going about with drawing and painting, but my friend told me that perhaps I should take 2 weeks off doing nothing and going out to inspire myself, cuz doing things mindlessly is not very efficient for practices. Hahahaha, it's soo right thou. I feel like a zombie, or a town who's walled themselves out from the outside. w00t time to get myself out of teh house xD. Starting next week when I get my new stylus for my Cintiq. (Yeah... it seems that the Stylus that I got from the Cintiq that I bought online was busted.... so hoping this new replacement will put an end to my frustration with the Cintiq).

I kinda liked the unexpected visit, it reminded me back during my childhood days, where my friends would sometimes comeover and call me out to play. Sometimes it would start off from a phone call first, then we would decide where to meet and we would endulge ourselves with countless hours of joy and fun. Ohh how I miss those days. I'd give anything to go back to those times again and enjoy those moments one more time.

But now that we're all at the "working" age, the only times any of us have free time would be weekends, but most of us would pretty much be dead tired from the long week of work, others would probably have extra work, or perhaps a partner(date) to visit. It's sad, but least we're still connected. Like my parents always tells me, "The studying life is always the best." So whenever I hear someone complaining about studying and school being stupid, I shake my head and shrug my shoulders with disappointment. But hey, they won't understand till it hits them.

Anyways, thank you very much for the visit ^^! You're a wonderful friend to me and I hope we can catch up more like this in the future :). Perhaps a drawing session would be fun too xD Doodling our minds out hahahaha.
