Hey guys.. Wow, It's been more than a month since my last update... I do apologize for that. Life's been pretty crap to me and I'm just trying to balance stuff out. I guess it's a Quart-life Crisis moment. Anyways, if you're not up for a lenghty read, you may disregard this blog and enjoy the awesome music on ma blog~ If you've read up to this point, then prepare for a magical journey of my UBER MASSIVE 1 MONTH+ BLOG UPDATE TIME!
Just a few days ago, there was a Pop Culture Convention called Armageddon at Melbourne. I grouped up with 2 of my awesome friends in an adventure of earning extra mulahs in exchange for our drawing service hehehe. It was great fun I must say, thou business wasn't as spectacular as expected, but it was better than Manifest, both in terms of stuffs to see as well as business :). But I think shopping wise, there are more stuffs in Manifest that interested me than Armageddon. I managed to snag a few awesome stuffs thou, oh and I met Yaya too! The feeling of meeting her in person was overwhelming. At first I was shy to speak to her, but I managed to grow some balls and man it out hahahahaha! Anyways. I hope to see her again sometime in the future ^^!
Now to the depressing bits. Life is being a bitch, especially for the employment side. I've been chasing and following up on applications made for job openings, but the longer I do it, the more I see it as a waste of time. I wish recruiters or the HR people had the balls to just call or even at least email applicants about their current application status. I mean... all you have to do is write 1 generic rejection letter, and copy paste all that email over. That's your job right? A recruiter? You recruit and that's it? Stuff getting 300 applicants a day or something, at least show the courtesy that our application meant something. I swear when I start up my own company and start earning lots of mulah, I would purposely apply for those jobs again, get accepted to an interview, attend the interview and just cuss and them and leave xD! hahahahaha. Revenge is a dish best served cold. I'll bring a tank of Liquid nitrogen too just for the laughs. As you can tell from my above rant, yeah I'm still unemployed..... semi-unemployed.
Last week I joined a company involved with doing VEET Products distribution. At first I thought "This job is going to be easy and quick money". Even during training, they explained how awesome it is and how much we can earn in a day. But really, it's all just a scam. You work in a crappy environment, the people who you're trying to give the products to don't want it, despite how much in electricity bill it'll save them, and the pay is actually really shit....It's another one of those realities of life, when something sounds too good to be true, there's always a catch... no really... always! I have yet to end my journey as a VEET Product installer, but I think 1 day of working experience there is more than enough to understand what future lies ahead if I do keep working in this job....
The iphone app project that I'm working with my friend seems to be going okay. Thou I was meant to finish it last week. But there were some delays. It's looking great thou, can't wait to finish it and hopefully if it generates some gold, I'll get a share of it too. Once this app is done, I plan on resuming or perhaps creating a game for the iphone device. Native coding too of course, I'm kinda sick of Flash CS6 now... cuz the conversion to an ipa sucks! I'd like to be able to do it in perhaps iTorque, or like cocoas2D, where it's made for games specifically. But I hope C++ isn't too hard to learn ^^"'...
Well... that's one part of my update.... I think I shall continue my entry tomorrow ^^''.. I'm quite dead from work today and would love some shut eye now ^^''' I'm also not thinking straight as I'm typing this entry, so please excuse the mix of feelings that this entry is portraying....
Mkay then, ciaoz!

Chin up Jordan, things may suck now but things can only look up from here, that includes launching your very first app! :)
Remember....
You’ve got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don’t settle.
